An e-learning platform, otherwise known as an educational platform or simply LMS (Learning Management System) is a technological and human device which integrates computerized tools for teaching and learning purposes.
An LMS brings together the tools necessary for the three main users of the platform:
- teacher / trainer: creation of educational paths, educational content and monitoring of learners' activity.
- learner: online consultation or download of educational content and transmission of work to be corrected.
- administrator: installation and maintenance of the system, access management and creation of links to other information systems.
